Dreaming for the Holidays — SWAP 12/3 features gift making at Newspring Center and Cindy Robinson master ventriloquist

The Saturday 12/3 program for Students with Amazing Potential will feature a spectacular custom program by master Ventriloquist Cindy Robinson of FreeKreation Productions, and gift making at the Spring Branch Newspring Art Center.  Rumor has it that the famous rap composed at the November trip to Moody Gardens will be performed (with Joel Hall directing!).

Let’s keep dreaming big — and make the holidays bright!  Program starts at Chapelwood UMC (or Newspring) depending on your group assignment at 9am.  (volunteers will meet at SOMS to ride buses at 8:15am).

First SWAP Family Night was a wonderful time to meet families!

Victor the MC at SWAP Family Night

The first ever SWAP Family Night hosted over 20 families of Students with Amazing Potential. SWAP volunteers got a chance to meet the families of these amazing students, and to let the parents know how much we enjoy their children!  We heard from SWAP students who shared feelings about the SWAP saturday program.  The kitchen team as usual served a wonderful meal – – and we enjoyed loving fellowship!
